There are many online greeting card sites out there, and we very much appreciate you looking at our site. We recognised that there was a need for a greeting card site aimed at Christians, and offering quality animated cards. We aim to offer a variety of cards to appeal to both Christians and non-Christians alike, all with a Christian theme. We are planning on building up a large variety of cards to cover all possible occasions. Please check out our online Christian Greeting Cards, and watch out for many more to come.
When Christian greetings change lives
Before Adam received the breath of life from God his body was lifeless – his blood was not circulating, his inner organs were not functioning and he had no sense of consciousness or any awareness of his existence as an individual life-form.
And then came that life-giving moment. In order for Adam to become a living soul, he had to be “plugged in” to life. The only way for this to be accomplishedwas for Adam to receive a “connection” from LIFE itself. And that LIFE was God. In fact, this LIFE was a Spirit – and Adam was about to receive a part of God, that is, spirit-life. God completed the creation process by extending His Spirit-life to Adam and also provided a personality and individuality unique only to Adam, the first human being.
Suddenly, life-consciousness became a reality for Adam.
The purpose for man’s existence was made clear.Man was to be God’s representatives on the Earth, taking complete control of everything and being responsible to God for it while enjoying fellowship with his Creator. Man was fully equipped to do so, for he had the necessary creative power within his make-up.
Unfortunately, because of the fall in the Garden of Eden, man lost his God-given dominion over the Earth and was plunged into a world of darkness – a world subject to stress, strife, suffering, sickness, disease, war, destruction and death, interspersed by fleeting moments of joy, satisfaction and happiness.
Humankind became spiritually dead, oblivious to the reality of its existence and purpose. It has, for thousands of years, been functioning as a sense-orientated society, having forsaken the spiritual aspect of its make-up.
The Bible speaks of a troubled spirit; an anguished spirit; a jealous spirit; a hardened spirit; a sorrowful spirit; a contrite spirit; a broken spirit; a steadfast spirit; a hasty spirit; a provoked spirit; a haughty spirit; a humble spirit; a vexed spirit; a patient spirit; a proud spirit; a heavy spirit and many more expressions to do with emotions. This certainly serves to prove that the spirit part of man forms the conscious, living part of man.
And then Jesus came along. Jesus was the Good News to the world. His arrival was the greatest “greeting card” the world was ever to receive. He had this to say, “... be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
Those who have responded positively and have received Jesus as Lord and Saviour have had their broken fellowship restored and have passed from the despair of spiritual death to the joy of spiritual life. They have become a sweet fragrance to God. (2 Cor. 2:15-16.)
Since then, the Good News of Jesus Christ has reverberated through the world, but millions have either totally ignored or have not paid close attention to the life-giving message of Jesus.
As Christians, we have a mission – and that is to pass on the message of good cheer to the world. The Bible tells us that, “...the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Heb 4:12)
It is the powerful Word of God that does the work in the lives of human individuals.
Sending Christian greeting cards containing verses of scripture is certainly a good way of bringing attention to the Word and directing card recipients to the Book of Books – the Bible.
